All change this year!
Both the 5K and the Children's fun runs have become very popular, so we have decided that each needs its own event. This year we will be holding the 5K races on the second Tuesday of the month
and the Children's fun runs on the fourth. This will have the knock on effect that we will only have two 5K races this season. We hope that by separating the races it will ease parking and reduce queues at registration.
5k Races will be held at 7pm on Tues 8th May and Tues 12th June.
Entry form available here.
Register in advance for both races for £12 (£10 for club members!).
NB. Please be aware that EVERYONE will be charged £8 on the night. Club member discount only applies to pre-entries.
Please remember this race is not for profit... your entry fee meant that last year we could donate £1000 to local primary schools as well as £500 to Welsh Athletics and £250 to Swansea Harriers.
Under 15 1 mile race will be held at 6:30pm on Tues 8th May and Tues 12th June.
Register on the night for £2 and receive a medal and a goody bag.
Children's fun runs will be held at 6pm on Tues 22nd May and Tues 26th June.
Register on the night for £1.50 and receive a medal and a goody bag.
So you want to enter the Swansea Bay 5K series...
Races are held each summer along the picturesque seafront walkway towards Mumbles.
The 5K races take place on the second Tuesday of the month in May and June. The first race this year is on May 8th.
We also hold a 1 mile challenge for Under 15s that starts at 6:30pm just before the main race at 7pm.
On the fourth Tuesday of the month we have a mixture of races for the under 12s starting at 6pm.

And don't forget to stick around post-race as you can exchange your 5K race number for a drink and snack courtesy of the Junction Cafe Bar. There is the 1 Mile challenge for the under 15s. Entry is £2 and the race starts at 6:30pm. The first 3 boys and girls win a boardrider pass for the LC as well as their goody bag. |

Primary School Challenge
This year we will be donating money to the 4 primary schools who get the most children to enter both day's fun runs.
The school with the highest total over both races will receive £400, the second £300, the third £200 and the fourth £100.
Last year Mayals, Bishopston and Sketty schools won with Mayals winning the series bonus prize.
