  The Llanelli 10k is 4 years old with a flat course in the Millennium Coastal Park.
• Race For Life - 19th July 09
  Part of the UK’s biggest women-only fundraising event. Walk or run 5km and raise money for Cancer Research UK

• Runners World - training guides
  Runners world has a good suggested training schedule to get the complete beginner in a fit state to complete a 5K. There are also more advanced training guides for the more experienced runners out there.
• Race for life - training guides
  More guides aimed at the beginner including a 3week blitz for those people who leave things to the last minute.

Local Running CLubs

• LC Cobras Join the LC Cobras running club for support, training and fun!
  Every Thursday evening from 7pm runners of all experiences from beginners to advanced are welcome.
  Registration fee is just £20 (this includes Welsh Athletics affiliation fee) and runners will be entitled to discounted entry to official races.
  The Club is also eligible to receive Marathon tickets for its members (subject to availability).
